Large dinner parties not requiring private space are welcome to dine with us using a customized limited menu. 72 hours reservation notice required.

Private Parties and Special Events

Takoba loves to throw a good party – from cocktail hours to rehearsal dinners to whatever you can come up with. Please explore our spaces available, listed below, and additional reservation information to the right.

Cantina El Milamores

Our most versatile space. Enjoy our entire Cantina, which includes the interior bar and lounge as well as the outdoor sandbox patio area.

  • Accommodates 60 people seated inside and up to 120 people total. A 50-person minimum attendance is required to reserve the space.
  • Sunday-Thursday: $1,800 food and beverage spending minimum + $100 rental fee
  • Friday-Saturday: $3,000 food and beverage spending minimum + $200 rental fee
  • Available during regular business hours. If an earlier start time is desired, please inquire about a possible exception. Please note, due to compliance with TABC law, we cannot extend operations beyond the times listed below.
  • Sunday-Thursday: 6 pm – 12 am
  • Friday: 4 pm – 12 am
  • Saturday: 4 pm – 1 am

Backyard

Enjoy our expansive outdoor patio and terrace with its own dedicated outside bar serving your guests exclusively. The space is kept private by a bamboo screen that lines the lower level of our restaurant patio and is accessed from the 7th Street patio.

  • Accommodates 80 people seated and up to 150 people total. A 70-person minimum attendance is required to reserve the space.
  • Sunday-Thursday: $2,300 food and beverage spending minimum + $100 rental fee
  • Friday-Saturday: $4,500 food and beverage spending minimum + $200 rental fee
  • All events taking place in the backyard are expected to end by 10 p.m. Sunday-Thursday and 11 p.m. Friday-Saturday in accordance with our restaurant hours. If additional time is needed for your event, please inquire about a possible exception.

Backyard (partial)

Enjoy the ambiance of our backyard and dedicated outdoor bar without renting the entire space. Your party will be kept private by a temporary bamboo screen.

  • Accommodates 70 people seated outside and up to 90 people total. A 50-person minimum attendance is required to reserve the space.
  • Sunday-Thursday: $1,800 food and beverage spending minimum + $100 rental fee
  • Friday-Saturday: $3,500 food and beverage spending minimum + $200 rental fee
  • All events taking place in the backyard are expected to end by 10 p.m. Sunday-Thursday and 11 p.m. Friday-Saturday in accordance with our restaurant hours. If additional time is needed for your event, please inquire about a possible exception.

Reservation and Event Information

RESERVATIONS
A credit card is required to hold a reservation. Fee will only apply if a reservation cancellation has been made with less than a 12 hour notice. Due to high volume, we do not accept reservations for Saturday and Sunday brunch.

Reservations are generally allotted 2 hours. Please plan accordingly.

As a courtesy to our other patrons, tables will only be held for 15 minutes beyond your scheduled reservation time.

Takoba will call your mobile phone for final confirmation 24 hours prior to the reservation.

SPECIAL EVENT GUIDELINES
Special event rentals are for a four-hour period unless specified otherwise.

Food and beverage minimum charges do not include taxes and gratuities. The set-up and break down fee does not count toward the minimum.

BAR OPTIONS
CASH BAR
Guests purchase their own drinks.

HOSTED BAR
Host of party purchases all drinks. To help monitor consumption, Takoba can provide drink tickets distributed by a host.


DECOR
Guests are welcome to decorate private areas and tables subject to manager approval. Our events coordinator can provide full service decor needs and will bill accordingly at cost plus 20%.

For a rental fee of $400, Takoba can provide and set up a tent to cover outdoor areas. Tent arrangements must be finalized 72 hours prior to the event.

ENTERTAINMENT
Bands or DJs can be accommodated in Cantina El Milamores. Takoba can assist with music arrangements for your event at cost with a 20% booking fee.
